Spring is around the corner here in London, the bulbs are poking their way upwards & the trees are budding, but it’s still chilly out there and in Wood Green the shop mannequins are feeling the cold.

Great Britain? The Union Jack flies proudly over the Food Bank. This is London, capital city of one of the richest major economies in the World.
It’s just a bit mad that with undeniable global warming we approach winter in Northern Europe & N.America fearing the cold & the cost of energy. whilst others nearer the equator are being blown away by hurricanes & typhoons or washed away in floods. It does feel like we are all extras in an Apocalypse movie.
There are few things in this World that last, but there will always be cucumber sandwiches, tea & the BBC.
Found this a while back & kept it as I thought it might come in useful. I think there is a need for a word to describe going into a room purposefully and then forgetting what it was.
