The Confessions of a Rambling Man. Chapter 7

June 28, 2021

Eight thousand kilometres and two continents away from London the dreams and nightmares that had  woken me at three or four in the morning every day for months on end abate and then disappear entirely, the sunrise beach walks and days soaking in the sun & the sea feed my soul, just being able to … More The Confessions of a Rambling Man. The Confessions of a Rambling Man Chapter 6

June 24, 2021

Next its a scrummage to get through … More The Confessions of a Rambling Man Chapter 6

Undeterred by my tangle with lipstick Leanne the lady with the probing tongue a few days later I set off to a pub in Primrose Hill for a date with Roxanne, a thirty-five year old North Londoner, half Italian & half Iranian. A week later I return to the office, plonk my ass behind my desk and survey my little kingdom, I’m the boss at the site where I am based and nominally responsible for nigh on a hundred people up and down the country, for this I earn a six figure salary.  As I sit there … More The Confessions of a Rambling Man Chapter 3

The Confessions of a Rambling Man Chapter 2

June 6, 2021

I open the front door and step into my house, a pile of letters lie on the doormat, bills for Mr. & Mrs, I laugh out loud, in a bitter kind of ironical way.  As I walk through the hallway I pass a bunch of family photos on the phone table, I pause and glance … More The Confessions of a Rambling Man Chapter 2

A year ago today I was still using a crutch to walk after a hip replacement. One year on I’m stick free but still waiting for ops on both my feet to correct bone deformities from arthritis. This month I’m going to walk 100km in March for Shelter.

Play anthology from The Vault Festival featuring five of the best shows from the 2023 season. Including Five Years with the White Man - from the pen & the mind of Saul Ezra Blue Boyer who would not be the person he is today without a crucial 48% of his DNA inherited from me. I am thrilled to have been recognised for this input in the dedication page.
Spring is around the corner here in London, the bulbs are poking their way upwards & the trees are budding, but it’s still chilly out there and in Wood Green the shop mannequins are feeling the cold.
Kurdish Graffiti in London. Fascinating to see the strife of people & politics from far away making its voice heard on the streets of London #freekurdistan

Great Britain? The Union Jack flies proudly over the Food Bank. This is London, capital city of one of the richest major economies in the World.
It’s just a bit mad that with undeniable global warming we approach winter in Northern Europe & N.America fearing the cold & the cost of energy. whilst others nearer the equator are being blown away by hurricanes & typhoons or washed away in floods. It does feel like we are all extras in an Apocalypse movie.
